It is important to keep these 3 chakras clear and balanced to maintain a proper balance of emotions in our lives.

Connection between Balanced Emotions and Chakras

Our body has several energy centres or chakras as they are called in Sanskrit. It is important to keep these chakras clean and balanced to maintain a proper balance of emotions in our day to day life. Often they get blocked due to negative emotions or limiting beliefs.

There are several signs that show you that your chakras are not balanced. These can be usually seen as:

  • Anger
  • Paranoia
  • Depression
  • Loneliness
  • Anxiety
  • Guilt
  • Fear
  • Overeating

To break out of this negative cycle, it is important to make sure that we keep our chakras balanced. We must keep our chakras clean and purified so that we can create space for new things that are coming on the way emotionally. Balanced chakras create a good balance with emotions as well.

3 Major Chakras for Emotions

There are three major chakras that play an important role in balancing our emotions and regulate what we are feeling.

Root Chakra

This chakra is located at the base of the spine and relates to feelings of being grounded. This is our foundation in life and relates to feeling like your basic needs, those necessary for survival, are met. Out of balance, we fear that we won’t have our needs met, and this results in anxiety. We also feel like we’re not good enough, or in fear, like we’re not safe. Roots are what holds a tree ad this chakra holds your emotions together.

Solar Plexus Chakra

This is one of the mains when it comes to emotions and chakras. Solar Plexus Chakra is where the personality is formed.  Relates to our feelings of being integrated into the melting pot of spiritual and earthly aspects. This is our gut instinct chakra as well.

When Solar Plexus Chakra is in balance we feel positive, whole, self-respect, compassion, self-esteem, personal power, a sense of separate self, confidence, hope and assertive.

When out of balance we feel powerless, worthless, self-critical, fear, shame, rejected and self-conscious.  There is a need to dominate and control from fear of trust in the natural flow. Not just to feel positive but to feel the flow of confidence it is important to balance this chakra.

Heart Chakra

As the name itself suggest. This is where lovelies. Heart Chakra not just maintains emotions but a balanced heart chakra provides you with a balance of life as well. Relates to our centre of love, spirituality, humanity and healing.  Our heart chakra is the neutralising centre of all feelings and emotions.

When in balance we feel joy, gratitude, love, unity of divine, compassion, trust, faith, pride, acceptance, inspiration, forgiveness and empathy. When out of balance we feel jealous, abandoned, anger, bitterness, fear, rejection, envy, conditional love.

Heart Chakra Balancing & Healing YAM Chants

We all seek a balance in life and for that, it is really important to have a balance in emotions as well. Whenever we feel low, in anger or any other negative emotions it is important to give a look at you imbalanced chakras. Life will keep presenting several challenges but we must not make those challenges a block in our chakras. Make sure that you keep a check on your chakras to maintain a good balance of emotions.
