How to let go of limiting beliefs with meditation?

Meditation is freedom. Freedom from the noise, freedom from the ego, freedom from the past and future. When hindering beliefs drown us, when our thoughts imprison us to some arbitrary boundaries, meditation can let us get past these walls and release ourselves from all these limits.

Meditation is freedom. Freedom from the noise, freedom from the ego, freedom from the past and future. When hindering beliefs drown us, when our thoughts imprison us to some arbitrary boundaries, meditation can let us get past these walls and release ourselves from all these limits.

Meditation helps us see the world beyond these beliefs

Our limiting beliefs can be the outcomes of cultural dictations. They can be the projections of the beliefs carried by friends and family. Or maybe they are our own self-imposed fabrications, but in the end, all converge into the same space. That is to say, all our beliefs are a part of the mental ordeal happening in the mind.

That’s why removing the clutters in the mind and building a peaceful composure can benefit our mental growth.

The silence we get from meditation suffocates the noise that causes fear and timidity. The balance it gives us trims the excess in our beliefs, and the clearance it bestows upon the mind shatters the delusions fueling those false beliefs. And as this inner healing eradicates impairing negativities one by one it becomes easier to plant true beliefs in their place.

It helps us unlock our potential

Every moment in meditation, we learn something new. Maybe it’s a change in the way we perceive our surroundings, or the way we act towards others, or the way we think about ourselves and our lives.

Each small change is a big step toward our true nature, toward our core being. Consequently, as we reach our most authentic selves, we detach the self from the limiting beliefs that originated from outside. Then as we follow the same path, we find the spiritual strength to coronate our mental realms with a belief system that liberates us from all the feelings of inadequacy and hopelessness.

What else can we do to get rid of our shackling beliefs?

A systematic approach frees you from the uncertainties.(internal link) Here is a quick guide you can follow to identify and address your false beliefs.
